The case is nicely built, however the spring that locks the phone in place on the clip has already gone bad (in 2 weeks of use). I guess you get what you pay is true.
Product is ugly and doesnt complement the gorgeous looks of the Treo 650. Returning it.
Or maybe if there's one with the plastic molded to the exact shape of the front. And you can pretty much forget using your fingers. However, I just cut the plastic off from in front of the screen which basically solves that problem.*The plastic over the 5-way button also makes it harder to use. It is hard to touch the screen with the stylus without significant amount of pressure and it is even harder at the edges and corners. (like feeling for the dimple on the "F/5" button)Overall I wouldn't recommend this or any other case with plastic over the screen unless you're going to cut it off. Pros: *The Belt clip works well and it is easy to remove the phone in one motion.*I think the case looks pretty good and fits snug.*The plastic over the keys actually makes them easier to press with your stylus.Cons:The plastic. *The plastic over the screen is definitely a problem. I will probably cut that off too.*The plastic over the other buttons means you can't really type by feel alone.
Also the white detailing on the edges is all printed, not stitched into the synthetic material. and if you try to use the stylus on it, you leave permanent tracks on the cover. The case looks very cheap, in fact ugly.
The clear plastic is soft enough for my fingers and stylus to easily press the keys and tap the display. The cover protects most of the palm but not quite all of it.
Overall I find I almost never have to take the cover off my phone so I would have to say it is a very good design for the phone. It also covers the beam area of the phone and part of the SD slot so you have to unsnap it if you want to switch the SD card.
The top is exposed due to the way the strap connects to the back of the cover. The belt clip is easy to disconnect and locks at several angles so you can adjust it for when you are sitting or standing easily.
I really like this protective cover for my Palm 700P. The leather is smooth and black with white stitches match the Qwerty keyboard nicely.
It does however allow for pictures to be taken by having the back of the cover go below the lens in the back.
